Module Details

Once you have created a new module, you will be now see the following screen below. The Module Details, Details Layout, and Field Display Layout windows are what you will use to build your modules.

If you are going from a pre-existing module, simply click on the module name in the list under Modules and you will have the same windows shown to you. Here you can make edits and add new fields to your modules. Let's start with the Module Details window.

Below are the different options available in the Module Details window. We will go into more detail on these options in the following courses.

• Singular Name:  The module singular name (example: Product).
• Plural Name:  The module plural name (example: Products).
• Icon:  Show Text Only, Icon Only, or show both.  Select an icon for the module using this tool (Set Icon) - if you want to show an icon.
• ID:  This is the Module ID for Ivinex.
• Import Data:  Tool for importing spreadsheet data (.CSV) into a module.
• Displayed Related Items: See related items from another module, or add related items for the current record.
• Display Colors: Create visual color differences between records that appear in record list windows.
• Default Filter: Set a filter to be automatically set across your site.
• View Fields: Use the drop-down menu to select a field to view in the Field Display Options window. You can select hidden fields in this menu.
• Display Conditions: Create a condition to display certain fields when desired.
• Show Hidden Fields: Shows you all normally hidden fields.
• Conversion Options: Tool for converting data from one module to another. Example: Convert leads into clients.
