How to Demo CRM Modules

The best way to describe or demo to a client regarding Modules, is explain that they are the building blocks to the Ivinex CRM system.  Modules are a collection of different data sets for the clients data.

All modules are created or built in the Ivinex System Admin (backend).  All the fields and layouts are customized to be displayed as the Unified User Interface (UUI) layer for the frontend.

They can be displayed to the User as a Module or a View.

As an example, we can use the Tickets Module (on the frontend) to explain how a module is displayed in Ivinex:

Click on a module to display ("Tickets"):

When you first select the module, the master list will show up in the window (upper left-hand corner typically).  Click on any record to display the Detail View.   These details show how the module was setup initially on the backend.  Also notice that there is an Activities and History View window associated with each module.

The Activities window can be used to make Notes, Tasks, or Calender Events for that module.  If a note or task was created, there will be a set of histories of each one (as shown in the History View below).

See the example below for displaying a module to a client:

You can move windows around if you want to show that they can be moved, made larger, or smaller on the screen.  Use the Reset Layout on User dropdown to put it back without saving in that layout.

Modules are a very important aspect to the Ivinex UUI.  It is important to explain that all the modules are created specifically for the customer.

Note:   See the "How to Use System Admin" for simple understanding of switching out a client logo, and showing how to use or create Modules and Scripts for a client on the backend.
