Link Types

Ivinex defines relationships between records using “links”. Links between records are created a few different ways, which results in a few different kinds of links.

Embedded

An embedded link is created when you use a LINKED RECORD field on a tab.

Related

A related link is created when you use the Displayed Related Items section in the detail view to create a link. Embedded links are also displayed in the “Displayed Related Items” section.

Converted

This type of link is created when you convert a record from one tab to another. The link will be created between the record that was created in the conversion, and the original record.
