Go-Live

Step 5 - Final

This becomes the final and completed application, and turned over to the customer for use.  This is a situation where we need "all hands on deck" for go-live.  Be available for questions, and be proactive in watching data, and the system in general.

The client should be very familiar with the implementation at this point, but will be available for any additional training to the admins and end users.

Ask the client to sign off on the implementation.

Continue to follow up with the customer to see how things are going.  Possibly have web meetings to see how it is going, and correct any minor changes as necessary (that is within the scope).

Provide the client with a document on "how the system works".  Could include flow charts/diagrams.  Following up with the client daily during the first week, then weekly for the next month.  Ask if there are any problems that they are seeing (minor bugs).
